Hope you had a fun one. No jokes here (right here, in this journal post). I'm much too humourous for one of those. Ho Ho Ho. I'm soo funny.
Well, I have taken my own advice and resumed blogging. Right now, I'm using an old one from Halloween, so I might start a new one or simply delete the useless one, which would likely include all of them. The inspiration for blogging came from a new writer who visited my school and a lot of literary friend who have one as well. I think it will help my concentration and keep me writing.
Since I thought of the post idea on dA, I thought someone might enjoy it. I think digital artists might recieve an ego boost. I hope it is yummy.
Dear Wacom Bamboo,
I formally surrender my respect to you. In other words, I give up (for the time being). Long have we fought the battle of me using you to create, but I must pursue more realistic ventures like hand drawn art and writing Do not worry though. I won't sell you to some strange kid who simply throw you like a Frisbee. You can still serve my hands as a mouse and a very stiff mouse pad.
Do not blame yourself for my faults. You are a wonderful piece of technology and I respect you, but my hands and you cannot agree on the lines. Perhaps it takes weeks of practices to produce art equivalent to hand drawn pieces. As stated before, I do not have that time. So once again, I respect you along with the other digital artists in the world. Yes, it would be easier to create something in the convenient Photoshop program on my computer and upload it to anywhere my heart desired, but I must stick with scanning with my imaginary scanner. Once I replace my imaginary scanner with a real one, I'm sure you'll come in handy with the edits. Until then, we must stay acquaintances with the minimum use.

dA, you are quite witty, but I'd wager I am only saying this since I recieved a Lady GaGa pic and a wonderful quote. I would probably be pissed off if I got Edward or Jacob. (No offense to the Twilighters though.)

Spring Break is Great

Forgive me for the silly title, but this spring break is wonderful compared to last year, a week of sick horror and I'm-going-to-die mentality. Yes, it was shaky with visiting and meeting strange people, but meeting said people got me the money for a new game. It was a good thing too because a Gamestop bastard wouldn't transfer money to get Pokemon SoulSilver. I'll be getting it by the end of the weekend, I'd wager.
Playing that game with minimum respondsiblities (too lazy to spell correctly) is enough to make a week wonderful. Soon I'll desire some fanart since I'm at a point where there won't be too much spoiled. More good new is I'm going to a con for the first time in my life. Not sure if I'm going to cosplay, but I have a few maybes.
Just the feeling of being away from a lot of stress is making this week great. And the news my sister isn't coming to visit, which is good and bad, but I won't bore anyone with silly details. My fast computer allowed me watch some Demyx Time videos.
Yeah, there has been boring things like doctor appointments, but the good thing is that I'll be getting some spiffy glasses that will stop my headaches. Right now, I would be okay with going back to school, but I rather stay a bit longer and play some FFXIII. Then I can worry about college though my dream school accepted me and will find the money for me to go.

Ray of Hope (teehee, cheesy title)

Well, today I got the book I ordered. I hardly ever do this, but since I cannot get it any other way, I did. I might do it again since it went so well. Well, the book is The Lie That Tells A Truth by John Dufresne. A funny name, I know, but it is all about writing. I have already read the introduction, and I feel inspired to write, adding my "itch."
This book was introduced by a "professional" writer. When I say professional, I mean the man had two books or more professional. Of course, that's not my standard, and it shouldn't be for anyone, but he highly recommended the book. Since I enjoyed his short stories, I thought "why not?"
On my new blog, I'm going to posting about it whenever I can, sharing any tips that John Dufresne, but not everything since the author didn't attend for a blogger to reveal the entire book.
I feel so inspired to draw even though I'm struggling with complex gesture drawings. Perhaps I might need to start with something not-so-complicated, then jump for challenges.

World, get over yourself.

It appears as if the world is against me on this. My tablet is missing, probably swiped at school, yet it was foolish for them not to swipe my lonely pen. It is always glaring at me. Oh, well. I never was too good at that tablet, but why did it have be the scanner next? I have a sketch book of half-finished pictures, but I cannot do a thing about it. Without school, I have no scanner. It appears the world is against me on doing art. World has also stopped mom from getting aluminum foil, and I NEED it. What's next? My paint-by-numbers? Shit, where did I put those brushes? Maybe I'll get a nice gift...access to a scanner or discovery of my unstolen tablet.
